Beto Ceriotti |
Beto was born in the city of San Justo, Buenos Aires.
He started playing bass at the age of 14, with his first band SEN.
Later on, he joined several bands, like HEINKEL and VALDRAGON, where
he met his actual bandmate, Claudio Marciello. With VALDRAGON, he recorded
their first DEMO at the RECORD DEC studio, and toured across the province
of Buenos Aires, playing in several Rock festivals. With MAMA SPLIT,
he recorded the first official record of the band, at the ION studios,
working with the famous producer Jorge “Portugués” Da Silva. He was
also part of EL RELOJ, one of the pioneer bands of the progresive rock
genre in Argentina, fulfilling one of his teenage dreams, since he
had been a fan of the band as a teenager. He spent a short time playing
in the band LOGOS, before joining ALMAFUERTE, his current band, which
has been his main project for the last 10 years. With ALMAFUERTE, he
toured across Latin America and participated on several official records
of the band (“Ultimando”, “Toro y Pampa”, among others). In 2009, ALMAFUERTE
released their first Live DVD, “En Vivo Obras”, and Beto was also part
of it.
Besides playing with ALMAFUERTE, he also
collaborated on the recording of his bandmate´s solo albums. He played
in both Ricardo Iorio´s “Ayer deseo, hoy realidad”, and Claudio Marciello´s
“Puesto en marcha”. He has also dedicated himself to musical education.
He has released an educational book called “SR BAJO” in the year 2000. |
