Growing up in church Mrklynik started playing the drums and had done his first real life recording session at the faith dome in Los Angeles by the age of 10… By the age of 18 Mrklynik was playing 6 instruments fluently Drums/trombone/bass/organ/piano/keyboard, and was gearing up for his first US tour with Fantasia Barrino and Kanye west, As years have passed Mrklynik has toured and shared the stage or been a huge part of the live show for artists such as Chaka Khan Charlie Wilson Jlo The Backstreet Boys Keyshia Cole Estelle among others. Currently Javad “Mrklynik” Day is gearing up for a 2month tour with Jerimiah he plays for Keyshia Cole and serves as assistant to musical director Kevin Randolph on that gig. He is also the MUSICAL DIRECTOR for Grammy winning artist Ciara who just did a sold out US tour and is preparing for an Overseas Leg as well.
